Wedding season is already underway at Ash Barton. Megan and Matt Lockwood got married here in February and what a beautiful winter wedding it was. Here, Megan shares her thoughts from the day.

 

Hair: Terri at Pinned to Perfection. “Styled six guests and bridal hair on the day and did a wonderful job. Lovely lady and very talented.”

Makeup: Rachel at Isabelle Grace Makeup “Rachel was a dream. Beautiful makeup that lasted all day and such a kind and lovely lady who felt like a friend.”

Flowers: Debbie, Teasels. “Beautiful flowers in a natural style. Lots of care and attention in the run up to the wedding.”

 

Photographer: Hannah Wilde. “Kind and attentive and clearly a natural behind the camera. Highly recommended.”  

Styling & Co-ordination: Katie at Best Day Ever. “By far the best investment we made. Not only did they style the venue into a wedding wonderland but they ensured the whole day ran like clockwork.”

 

Catering: Trevor at Big Pot. “We’ll be reminiscing on those delicious sausages for years to come! Ideal food for a winter’s day.  

Evening food: The Whiddon Wagon. “Proper fish and chips. Went down a storm!”  

Bar: Liam at FlyBar. “Bar service ran like clockwork and everybody was loving the selection of cocktails on offer. Such a great guy and even got involved with the new light up dance floor."

 

Band: Bowreed.”Bristol based Ceilidh band that had everybody up on their feet.”

DJ: Paul at The Wedding Spinner. “Paul went through exactly the type of music we wanted. Stayed an extra hour when we decided we didn’t want the party to end.” 

“A big thank you to Simon, Katharine and Tom for letting us stay at Ash Barton. The newly revamped barn is awesome, everything you could ever want to throw the party of a lifetime and the chapel is beautiful.”
