Housekeeping
When you stay at Ash Barton it really is like a home away from home. You have the complete run of the estate to come and go as you please and do whatever you want.
And like your own home, you’ll find plenty of fresh white towels, crisp cotton linens on all the beds, ironing boards and irons, and a washing machine. In fact, there are two. And if you need to dry anything, our camper pamper drying room in the posh loos block has heated towel rails and loads of hooks and hangers.
Catering for your guests
Over the course of a few days, the huge kitchen is the place where everyone congregates for breakfast, cups of tea and glasses of fizz. Chances are, your big event will be catered and your caterers will set up in the commercial kitchen in the big party barn.
But for all your other meals including breakfasts, lunches and late-night snacks, there’s plenty of cookery and cutlery in the kitchen for you, your family and your residential guests to use, including a 12-slice toaster, high quality cooks knives, a stack of pots and pans, and tons of glassware. There’s also a dishwasher. You can bring food with you, or you can have it delivered to the door by the local Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Asda. (Just say ‘Ash Barton Manor’ when you order.)
Or you might want to get your breakfasts catered. Having someone arrive the morning after the wedding to rustle up bacon butties and mimosas for all your guests is highly recommended. Take a look at our suppliers’ list for caterers.
Clearing up
So how about tidying up? We’d love you to leave Ash Barton as you found it. So that means getting all your guests to help with the big clean up. Or better still, hire in help. Katie at Best Day Ever, Holly at Croyde Concierge and Leilah at Unity Event Design all know Ash Barton well. So book them and their teams to arrive the day after your celebrations and they'll get things back to normal in time for the arrival of the next happy couple.
