Wildflower Weddings at Ash Barton
Is there anything prettier and more romantic than a wildflower wedding? If you love the thought of saying your vows in the middle of a meadow surrounded by the sweet scent of spring flowers, a riot of colour and a kaleidoscope of butterflies, Ash Barton is the place for you.
A wildflower wedding is the perfect choice if you love the great outdoors, or you want a wedding that’s a bit quirky, or a bit different and completely personal to you and your partner. You can even pick wildflowers on the morning of your wedding to create your bouquet and buttonholes.
Holding your wedding in our wildflower meadow also means you get to walk down one of the longest aisles in the country at 145m. It’s certainly the most unusual. Imagine you and you wedding party walking through our gorgeous five acre wildflower meadow towards your friends and family to be married. It’s like something straight out of the movies.
After the wedding ceremony
You might want to follow up your wildflower wedding ceremony with a wedding breakfast and dancing in our Big Party Barn. Or perhaps you’d prefer a small intimate dinner in the Dining Room or The Old Chapel. And you can decorate the venue any way you like from vintage and rustic to bohemian or whimsy. Fairy lights and bunting always look fun. And wildflowers in jam jars are a pretty addition to the tables.
As for your guests: once they’ve enjoyed your wildflower wedding and partied the night away, they can stay the night at Ash Barton. There’s enough room to sleep 35 in the main house. Or why not have them camp – or, even better, glamp – in the grounds? There are plenty of luxury loos and showers close by in the stable block.
Thinking of having a wildflower meadow wedding? The flowers are in bloom from May to October.
