The games barn was used consistently used by members of our party from all ages. The adults loved getting competitive with snooker and the kids dominated the trampoline. The outside fire pit was roaring every night - it was extremely useful for toasting marshmallows! Thank you for our time here it has given us memories never to be forgotten!

Where you get married at Ash Barton is completely up to you. You can have your civil wedding ceremony in the courtyard, in the old chapel or in the big barn. Or you can even have your ceremony under the oak tree overlooking the lake and surrounded by an abundance of wildflowers. All our wedding ceremony locations are fully licensed.
If you choose a location for your wedding but want to change your mind at the last minute – you can. Unlike other wedding ceremony venues, we’re completely flexible. So if you love the North Devon scenery and want to get married outside, there’s no need to worry about the weather. If the heavens open ten minutes before the ceremony is due to begin, we can quickly move the wedding to another location that’s undercover. No problem.

Under the Oak Tree
Overlooking the lakes and flower meadow, our lovely old oak tree is a beautiful spot to get married. And our antique pergola adds the finishing touch.
West Porch
If you want to have your ceremony in the evening, your guests can sit on the patio beside the firepit and watch you get married under the beautiful architecture of the west porch.
Swimming Pool
During the summer months we throw open the doors between the pool and the patio, making it an ideal spot to enjoy an unusual water-themed wedding ceremony. Ideal for swimming and diving enthusiasts.
Secret Garden
Tucked away behind the courtyard is our pretty secret garden that’s perfect for an intimate outdoor ceremony. Get married under the lovely old arch, then walk through to the courtyard for drinks and canapes.

Just a 30 minute drive away in Combe Martin, Arches is a beautiful and intimate beach wedding venue and bridal suite. Enjoy a wedding ceremony by the beach and then have your party back at Ash Barton.
