Ahh the good old British weather. It’s reliable in its unreliability. Which is why Ash Barton is such an amazing venue to get married at. Starting to rain? No problem. We can move the whole ceremony into the old chapel or the threshing barn. Which is exactly what Bobbie and Joe did when they go married at Ash Barton back in April. And how lovely was it that Joe surprised Bobbie on the morning of the wedding with a gift of a live artist, who painted a picture whilst the ceremony was taking place. Many congratulations to you both on your beautiful day.

“To start, we weren’t sure if we would need a wedding co-ordinator, and having now had Katie at our wedding, I have anxiety thinking how we would’ve pulled it off without her and her team! No stone was left unturned, no question left unanswered, every detail was perfect and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day. She even helped our bridal team go and pick petals on the day before our wedding once we realised I’d forgotten to bring the confetti! Thank you Katie! Another special touch (as I saw in another post too) was being handed a glass of Prosecco as soon as we stepped out of the barn after the ceremony - our glasses were never empty and it absolutely is the little touches.

We had tartiflette, ragu and a thai green curry (tofu and chicken options) for our guests who haven’t stopped raving about it!” Katie from Graze and S’more was so accommodating and we had charcuterie spreads and a sweet section too.

“The best wedding present EVER from my husband was that Megan came and painted our wedding ceremony. It was the most incredible surprise and her final painting is so amazing words can’t describe it. The detail she captured is incredible and it hangs proudly in our living room now for everyone to see.”

“He’s who was local to our parents’ home town in Wiltshire. He travelled all the way down and was so accommodating. We gave him a giant playlist and he hit the nail on the head with our music style.

“These guys were such good fun, super speedy and had great communication in the lead up to the day. Especially great - they have no minimum spend and no deposit- we just literally booked them and had to do nothing else! The week before they confirmed what specific beers, ales, brands, spirits etc they’d be bringing. They also provided glass hire for wine glasses for our tables (and no breakage charges). They also set up a mini bar in the chapel for the drinks reception, so our guests didn’t have to go into the party barn and spoil the big reveal too early!” 

Band: Velvet Moon (with Naomi Johnson from The Voice)

"We booked them through Alive Network to perform during the drinks reception and they brought the VIBE! Despite the rain our guests were dancing in the courtyard and singing along. Fab!"
