Olivia and Paul enjoyed an incredible four-day extravaganza back in June. We loved your impromptu quiz in the big party barn and how you turned the old chapel into your very own pub for the weekend!  Even though the wedding had to moved into the threshing barn at the last minute because of the weather, it added to the fun of the occasion. Huge congratulations to the both of you.

"Connie must be superhuman or something. I had eight bridesmaids, my mum, my god mum and me all having hair and make-up done. She managed to get us all looking beautiful with time to spare! She tweaked everything perfectly from my trial and I was over the moon with my final look on the day. Highly recommended!"

Wedding co-ordination: Unity Event Design 

"Leilah was our on the day co-ordinator and is an absolute dream. The day would not have run half as smoothly without her help! Her experience on how to make the most of all the space at Ash Barton was incredible. A special mention to for her help cleaning the big party barn up on the Sunday as well! We will be eternally grateful to her and how hard she worked to make our special day so special."

Flowers: Floral Art Devon 

"Holly and Gary are the loveliest people, we had so much fun meeting them and their arrangements and colours were absolute perfection. I cannot stop looking at photos of them all. We were initially disappointed with the weather not allowing us to have ceremony outside, but our out-of-this-world florals (and some lighting magic by Leilah) transformed the threshing barn into the perfect space."

Music: Inspired Party

"Matt was sensational! He followed us around all day to keep the music pumping. We had music recorded by a family member playing as we signed the register and that was all sorted quickly and seamlessly! He got the tone right for each moment and played all our favourites as requested! I also can’t imagine how ridiculous we must have all looked on the dance floor during his last stint - thank you for keeping the floor filled all night long Matt!!"

Glamping village: Unity Event Design 

"They erected a 16 tent glamping village for us (in the strongest most awful winds – hugely grateful for their perseverance!). The tents were so cosy – our campers all said they didn’t want to leave!"

"What a talent!!! Clare created a masterpiece, presenting us with the most beautiful watercolour that captured the magic of our ceremony perfectly. She was also doing guest portraits which went down a treat! We absolutely loved having Clare with us on the day – incredibly kind and talented lady!"

Friday night pizza: Stone Artisan Pizza 

"They did an incredible job putting out mountains of delicious pizza for everyone after our pub quiz! This team were incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with from the get-go! Highly recommend Bobs and team!"

Catering: Big Pot Kitchen

"The service, the food, the friendliness – all exceptional. We had canapes in the courtyard after our reception, their signature sausages for our wedding breakfast and then they also cut up our cake and served with berries and cream for dessert. Multiple guests told us the sausages were the best they had ever had!! We also had enough potatoes leftover to enjoy with our BBQ on the Sunday."

Cake: Jax's Cakes 'N' Bakes

"Jax made us the most beautiful cake, which was lapped up by all our guests for dessert. She was incredibly helpful at helping us figure what we need in terms of portions – we ended up getting an extra cutting cake to ensure we had enough for everyone."

Band: Renville  

"Wow wow wow! We found choosing and booking a band to be one of the more challenging parts of planning. It’s so difficult when you’re not able to see/hear the bands in real life. We feel so unbelievably grateful to have found Renville, they were perfect for us and played banger after banger! So many of our guests said how incredible Renville were. Function central were also brilliant to book through!"

Bar: Bars with Legs 

"We used their pop and serve service for our table wine and toasting wine. We also had them put out tea and coffee on the tables after our meal. They were all incredibly efficient and helpful in the lead up to the wedding and on the actual day. They were also very flexible and helpful with the system we wanted to introduce for buying drinks (we had people swapping board game tokens for booze). Couldn’t recommend these guys enough!!!"

Evening catering: Jax’s Event Catering 

"Jax also did our late night food – we had burgers, loaded fries, mac and cheese. This all went down an absolute treat and so many people were raving about how delicious it all was!"

"Our guestbook with everyone’s photos is now one of my most cherished possessions!! South West photobooths were so communicative and helpful! You can completely customise the photo templates and they even let us have special graphics on the photo booth’s screen."

"They came to man the bar for us on the Friday and were making up jugs of Pimm’s, serving snacks and even making up desserts. Words cannot express how utterly incredible Holly and her team are. From the moment they arrived they were so on top of things and were a huge help as we pivoted our plans due to the rain. They were back again on the Sunday to help us supply everyone with bacon baps and Bloody Mary’s! They even offered got us more bacon morning of when it was clear we wouldn’t have enough. Truly brought everyone back to life Sunday morning."
