Hiking and Walking Holidays in North Devon
If you enjoy hiking and walking, or even just a casual stroll, there are plenty of places in North Devon to stretch your legs and get a bit of fresh air.
Ash Barton is surround by 25 acres of woodland, fields, gardens, wild flower meadows and lakes. So there’s plenty of opportunity to pull on your wellies and explore the countryside. The South West Coast Path has some excellent easy access walks including Baggy Point, which gives you spectacular views of the coastline, and Putsborough Marine Drive, a lovely walk to Morte Point with views out to Lundy Island. And, of course, there’s the ever-popular Tarka Trail with unmissable panoramic views.
And what better to recover after a day of hiking or meandering, then heading back to Ash Barton, putting your feet up and relaxing in front of the crackling wood stove.

Great week as always, fantastic house (especially games barn) with stuff for everyone to do! Sardines or hide and seek is a must in such a big house. Would definitely recommend Croyde Bay for surfing. Looking forward to coming back soon.Hunts, Webbers, Sharps, Bradleys, Stanley's and Stevens family
