If you're looking for a stunning Asian wedding venue in Devon that’s spacious, colourful and flexible - and will impress all your family and friends - look no further than Ash Barton.
And the good news? You can book Ash Barton for your exclusive use over a number of days. So there’s plenty of time to accommodate every aspect of a traditional Asian wedding including pre wedding gatherings, henna nights, dinner parties and dancing.
Where to hold your Shaadi (traditional Asian wedding)
You can enjoy exclusive use of all the rooms in the house as well as the grounds. And there’s lots of space to have a marquee on the lawn too.
For your mehndi ceremony, you and your female friends can have your intricate henna patterns drawn on your hands and feet in the large bridal suite. It’s a great space for a girls get together. In the evening, for your sangeet, have dinner and dancing in the big party barn. There’s seating for up to 200 and lots of room for families from both sides to mingle, eat a meal together and dance.
On the third day, you may want to hold your main ceremony on the lawn followed by cocktails and a reception with a band or DJ in the marquee. Or feel free to head back to the big party barn.
And, of course you can style the venue however you like from coloured sashes, seat covers and floral decorations for the high table to floor mattresses, rugs, cushions, coffee tables and shisha furniture in the marquee.
Catering your Asian wedding
At Ash Barton, you’re free to choose whatever food and drink you want: from traditional fare like aloo tikki, paneer pakora, kharai chicken and lamb rogan josh to the altogether more British dish of chicken tikka. There’s plenty of space in our kitchen and in our big party barn for your caterers to prepare a fabulous Asian feast. And there’s no corkage fee either. It's unlike any other Asian wedding venues you'd find in the UK.
